How To Crochet The Festive Crop Top

Add festive colours to your crochet wardrobe collection with this blouse pattern. Made with only double crochet stitches, this is the next simply beautiful piece you can crochet.

There was this big project I was crocheting and wanted to take a break from it. I am a big fan of regional Indian garment designs and always wanted to recreate one of the rajasthani choli patterns through crochet. So here I am two weeks later with this gem of a design.

This pattern is available as written pattern only. Hence do reach out to me in case of any query.

Before you begin with this project, make sure to check the gauge information. As it happens, the blouse is made with 8ply yarn, which is a thicker weave and works up very fast. Try and use any yarn with that dimensions or if you still want to use 3ply or 4ply yarn from your stash, you may need to double the yarn and then use for this pattern.

Gauge information-

Size: M/L (Since it is tied at the back, it gives more flexible fit and can be worn in the size M or L )

Hook size 3.5 mm / (US E/4 or UK 9). Make a swatch in order to confirm the right fit by making 15 double crochets x 10 rows = 10 cm / 4” in width and 10 cm / 4” height.

To make this blouse I have used the following material–

  1. Yarn- Ganga acrowools knitting yarn JIVE, 200 g in shade no. 747003 (red) and 100 g in shade no 779009 (black)
