The art of knitting has been traditionally passed down from mothers to their daughters in our family.
My grandma used to make sweaters for all of her six kids, grandpa and relatives on special occasions. Doilies could be found covering all spaces in her house. She never wore a garment which didn’t have decorative crochet edge.
My mother has imbibed all of this and more. She is not only good at knitting and crochet but sewing. Everyone in our and extended family owns something handmade by her.
I have grown up seeing these women put their hearts into such intricate designs and producing pure love.
I aspire to take this tradition forward. Etsy is a platform where I find like minded people who value handmade goods. So, here I am sharing my passion with you.
