This granny square bag pattern I am sharing with you is a quick and easy project that can be made with scrap yarn using single or multiple colours.
Whats more this bag takes less than a day to finish too.
Yarn which is used for making this bag is actually scrap yarn from previous projects. I made it using three different colours. This bulky yarn works up so quickly it totally amazes me. The texture is so soft and it’s cool on the eyes too.
Here is the Youtube link to the beginner friendly video tutorial for the bubblegum bag.
Overview
- First we work two squares separately
- Then we join both the squares stitch by stitch leaving space for bag opening.
- Then at last we work the strap and join it to the body of the bag.
- Our bubblegum square bag is now complete.
This bag is made my stitching together 2 granny squares. Let’s start by making the granny square which we will replicate one more time.
