Instructions
Gauge information- Size: XS/S-M-L-XL-2XL/3XL-4XL/5XL
Hook size 3 mm (US C). Make a swatch in order to confirm the right fit by making 22 double crochets x 10 rows = 10 cm / 4” in width and 10 cm / 4” height. Switch to larger hook if you have too many stitches on 10 cm = 4” or a smaller hook if you have very few stitches on 10 cm = 4”.
To make this crop top you will need following material
- Vardhman Cotone Knitting Yarn 100-100-150-150g
- Hook- 3mm
- Scissors
- Markers to mark important stitches
- Yarn needle to weave in the ends

Short overview of the top
- The top is worked form bottom then upwards.
- Work a triangle at bottom in the middle and then work outward on two sides.
- For neckline, divide the piece at the middle by working on each side separately.
- The bottom edging and back ties are worked simultaneously.
- At last straps are worked.
- NOTE – Two rows are worked in single colour, alternately.

Bottom edging
- CH 50, attach to one side of the piece on the bottom corner and cut the yarn
- Attach yarn on the other bottom corner of the piece. CH 52, HDC in each CH ST, 4 HDC over each TR ST, HDC over remaining 50 CH ST.
- CH2(doesn’t count as ST), HDC in 1st ST, HDC in each ST till end of row.
- CH2(doesn’t count as ST), HDC in 1st ST, HDC in each ST till end of row. Cut the yarn.
Shoulder straps
- Attach yarn at the 4 CH SP at the top, CH 92 (or as many required for your measure)
- Attach the end of the CH at the back of the piece. (I suggest you wear the piece and place markers on both sides where you feel is best to join the end of the CH), SC jn nearest ST and CH the same number of CH ST as the previous one.
- Attach the end of the second CH at the 4 CH SP at the top.
- Repeat the same for the other side.
Weave in all the ends and your summer crop top is ready.
