Aneeka means ‘graceful’ in sanskrit. And graceful is how one looks when they don this beautiful garment. I chose pastel colour palette and lace edge to go with the summer vibe. The main body is done in half double crochet stitches. The written pattern comes with graph for crochet edge.
Gauge information – Size: M with instructions to adjust it to any size
Hook size 3.5 mm / (US E/4; UK 9). Make a swatch in order to confirm the right fit by making 18 half double crochets x 16 rows = 10 cm / 4” in width and 10 cm / 4” height.
In order to make this pattern to required size please follow the below equation
- Measure the length from one shoulder to other shoulder. (Suppose it is a= 80cm).
- The length at which markers will be placed for arm is b=((a÷2)+5) ie. ((80÷2) +5=45)
- Now length of first row of chain= (a*2)+(b*2) (ex. (80*2)+(45*2)=250cm)
- With this formula you have worked the row 1 to 3 of this pattern. Follow from step no. 4 to continue in the pattern.
